Does the rain make my windows dirty?
Rain itself generally does not make the windows dirty, dirt does. Dust accumulates on the outside of the glass from lawn mowers, leaf blowers, tree pollen, car exhaust and many other sources. This dust settles as a uniform layer on the glass. When it rains, the rain drops push the dust into different patterns and after the water dries the dust remains on the glass. Clean glass will stay clean after a rain because once the rain water dries, there is nothing left behind to obscure the view.
Weather Policy:
1. What if the forecast predicts rain for the day of my appointment?
If it is not raining our policy is to complete the job as scheduled providing all safety and working conditions can be maintained. If precipitation is light, in many cases we will proceed as scheduled because rain does not affect the cleaning process. In the event heavy rain occurs, outside work will be re-scheduled for the next available day. All inside work is completed as scheduled to avoid disrupting your busy calendar.
2. What if the forecast predicts High winds for the day of my appointment?
Safety is always our number one priority. Our standard states that we can work in up to 20 mph sustained winds, however, we seldom allow work to continue in such conditions. Our operations manager and crew leader’s will evaluate the wind on site and determine if safety or quality will be compromised. We look at weather forecasts many times throughout the day to help determine safe working conditions for all of our employees. Depending on the size and location of your building we may be able to continue work out of the wind. You will be contacted with scheduling updates and cancelations as needed.

We are able to offer ladderless window cleaning services using Deionized / Purified Water technology Using a waterfed pole system. With the DI process, impurities in ordinary tap water are completely removed and the water becomes an aggressive cleaning agent without the use of detergents or chemicals. Purified water is pumped through specially designed extension poles with high tech brush heads that work together to clean your windows up to 8 stories high right from the ground! That means we can safely clean hard to reach and inaccessible areas outside without the use of ladders. This is great for OSI Certified and 'Green' properties as it eliminates your risk of liability from ladders or staging equipment. This tool is not applicable on heavily soiled windows and works better with more routine cleanings like quarterly services for best results.
